A Robin Hood in darts does count as a throw but does not count for points. The reason is that in order for any dart to count for a score, the tip of the dart MUST come into contact with the dartboard, and must stay in the board.
This rule applies to steel tip type darts because in electronic darts the game machine is what decides if a dart scores or not. There is some dispute over the proper naming of multiple Robin Hoods.
Recently Rob Cross landed his second dart into his first, then the third dart into his second. He called his a Triple Robin Hood.
The only thing that makes sense to me is a double Robin Hood would be both your second and third dart landing in the first dart thrown.
Calling this a double Robin Hood would be the most logical name, and it would leave the name unavailable for having the third dart hood into the second.
